Eat in

Eat in lets guests order at the restaurant, for example from their table.

Set up eat in

1. Shipping method. Add Eat Here Method to your shipping zones under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping, including Locations not covered by your other zones. Its Title is what the guest sees (default Eat at Restaurant), and Flat Rate can add a cost (default 0).
2. WooCommerce Local pickup. In the Checkout block, eat in uses WooCommerce’s pickup step, so Local pickup must be turned on. See Pickup.
3. Menu page. In Menu Flow, turn on Modes → Allow eat in.
4. Checkout. In Food Online Shipping Mode, turn on Show Eat Here under Checkout Behavior. Under Checkout Fields → Eat Here, ask only for what you need, for example a name and a table number (optional or required).

Time and order

• The time picker for eat in uses the Time Picker for Pickup Orders settings.
• The expected time is set under Order Time Management → Eat at Restaurant Orders.
• The order shows Eat at Restaurant and the table number on the admin order page and in the emails.
